Tao is a place to taste, compare, discover and discuss. Explore the craftsmanship of a beautifully made cigar alongside an exceptional aged rum; discover how chocolate transforms the character of a fine wine; compare Champagnes side by side; or join us for one of our specially curated tasting evenings dedicated to a particular producer, vintage, region or pairing.

Cigars & Spirits

Cigars are very much part of the Tao experience. From understanding different origins, wrappers, vitolas and flavour profiles to discovering why a particular rum, whisky, Cognac or Armagnac can make such an extraordinary companion, our cigar experiences are about appreciating the ritual and craftsmanship behind them.

Where a tasting includes smoking, cigars are enjoyed in our designated outdoor area in accordance with UK smoking legislation.

Some Tao evenings will be hosted by specialists and producers; others will introduce rare bottles, exceptional cigars and combinations you may never have thought to put together.

Tao isn't about consuming more.

It's about experiencing better.

Places are intentionally limited, keeping each gathering intimate, knowledgeable, conversational and just a little exclusive.
